Homemaking

Homemaking has been a journey of growth, grace, and learning for me. It has not always come naturally, and even now I am still figuring things out as I balance homeschooling, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, animal care, and the daily needs of our family. Over time, though, I have learned that homemaking is not about perfection — it is about serving your family well and being faithful with the home God has given you.

In our home, that means focusing on the spaces that matter most, creating routines that bring peace to our days, and teaching our children to care for the spaces they have been given. We believe chores teach responsibility, not hardship, and that structure is especially important for neurodivergent children who need steady rhythms in everyday life.

I am not fully where I want to be yet. I still buy organic cleaners instead of making my own, and we are taking this life one step at a time. But little by little, we are building a home with intention.

My husband works hard to provide, and I work hard to care for the heart of our home. We are not a perfect family, but we are a traditional one, trying to honor God, work hard, and build a life full of purpose, love, and faith.
