Our Animals
Animals are at the heart of our homestead.
They are more than just part of our setup—they are part of our daily life, our learning, and our responsibility. Each one plays a role in helping us build a more self-sufficient and meaningful way of living.
We currently raise chickens, ducks, and rabbits, and each has its own purpose
🥚 Chickens
Chickens were where it all began.
They provide us with farm-fresh eggs and were our first step into homesteading. Through them, we learned responsibility, care, and the importance of consistency. What started as a way to save money became the foundation of everything we are building today
🦆 Ducks
Our ducks are a newer addition and a step forward in our growth.
They bring both personality and productivity to our homestead. Their eggs are rich and nourishing, and raising them continues to expand our knowledge and confidence as we grow
🐇 Rabbits
Rabbits are one of the most versatile animals we raise.
We raise them for both pets and process, understanding and respecting both purposes. They teach responsibility, sustainability, and the value of providing for our family in a more intentional way.

Caring for animals has changed the way we live.
It has taught us patience, discipline, and stewardship. It has shown our children what it means to care for something beyond themselves and to take responsibility for the life we’ve been given.
